Membership
The membership of the Longmeadow Volunteer Fire company consists of approximately 40 active firefighters, and 20 active administrative members. Together they perform tasks ranging from fire/EMS calls, equipment maintenance, statistical reporting, fundraising, public education and public service.
We are always looking for new people to join our team. If you are interested please stop by the station and pick up an application. The application process is as follows:
After applying, you will be contacted to attend a monthly membership meeting where you will be introduced to the membership. The following month, you will attend a Board of Directors meeting in which they will interview. The following Monday, at the membership meeting, the Board will make their recommendation regarding your membership into the company. The membership will then vote. If you have any other questions please call the station and someone will be able to help you.
