At 2016 hours, units from Longmeadow were alerted for a barn fire at 15221 Ridge Road.  More to follow.

October 12, 2003

At 0229 hours, units from Longmeadow were dispatched to assist Franklin County, Company 4, Blue Ridge Summit, with a working building fire.  Units first on scene found a dining hall / recreational center fully involved as well as heavy fire in a house approximately 20 feet away.  Both structures were unoccupied.  Crews from Engine 27-1 and Truck 27 assisted with extinguishment and extensive overhaul.  Company 27 cleared the scene around 0630 hours.

October 6, 2003

At 1855 hours, Truck 27 was alerted Company 9, Leitersburg and Company 79, Smithsburg EMS for a patient who had fallen from a roof and into the second floor of a house under construction.  Truck 27 assisted with packaging of the patient and removed the patient from the house using the aerial.  Units cleared at 1943 hours.
