At 0114 hours, FRC dispatched Box 9-4 for Odor of Smoke in the residence in the 12800 block of El Paso Drive.  Assistant Chief 9 arrived on scene, confirming an odor and established El Paso Dr Command.  Crews from Company 27 assisted Company 9 crews with the inside investigation.  There was no source for the odor found and it was believed to be caused by chimneys in the area.  Units cleared in about a half hour.

At 1424 hours, FRC dispatched Box 13-27 for a house trailer fire in the 18600 block of Northhaven Street.  Lieutenant 27 was in the area and arrived immediately after dispatch and reported smoke showing to FRC.  Engine 13-2 arrived on scene and established Northhaven Street Command and then passed it to Lieutenant 27.  Upon investigation with the Thermal Imaging Camera, units found a water heater fire.  Command held both engines from Company 13 and Truck 27 for extinguishment, overhaul and ventilation.  Units cleared the scene in about an hour and a half.

At 1257 hours, FRC dispatched Box 27-5 for Odor of Smoke in the residence in the 13800 block of Long Ridge Drive.  Lieutenant 27 arrived on scene confirming an odor and established Long Ridge Drive command.  Crews from Truck 27 and Engine 132, led by Chief 27, investigated and found a plastic strainer was placed on the stove to dry, thus creating the situation.  Crews assisted the resident and returned to service in about a half hour.
