October 12, 2002
At 0132 hours, units from Longmeadow were alerted
for a personal injury accident on Longmeadow Road in the area of Windsor
Drive. Units arrived to find van on its side with one entrapment.
Company 13 crews preformed extrication while Longmeadow crews worked on
vehicle stabilization, extinguishment of a small engine fire and traffic
control. Patient was transported Priority 1 to Washington County
Trauma Center by Paramedic 75-9. Units cleared the scene at
approximately 0300 hours.
